God works at Taco Bell too....

So there i was minding my own business at taco bell for lunch today. I order my food and sit down next to 2 guys in a booth. I proceed to eat my food and possibly listen in on their conversation. I hear that it is a youth pastor and one of the youth, my heart drops. My heart drops because i am on my lunch break from a job that i am thankful for, but dont really want to do. And right next to me is the picture of what i want to do, what i was made to do for the rest of my life. As i was sitting there wallowing in my own self pity, i realize that im a loser. God has me in the place that, honestly, i dont really like. But the good thing about that is he is God, and i am not. He knows whats best, and i dont.

This pastor was talking to the student about how you need to seek Gods face when you are in need. Just so you get the picture, there i am wallowing in my own self pity as the youth pastor is giving the instructions that i need currently. All that to say God talked to me at Taco Bell today. Probably the most beneficial $5 ive ever spent there.

in the economy of mercy

Economy of Mercy
Switchfoot

In the economy of mercy
I am a poor and begging man
In the currency of grace
Is where my song begins
In the colors of Your goodness
In the scars that mark Your skin
In the currency of grace
Is where my song begins

Jon Foreman, in my opinion, is a modern day theologian. Im sure that i will be putting up more of what his songs have to say.
